Re: cMud Map Importer
Actually, Eraene helped me and I figured out that there's something in my map that's preventing it from importing. Not sure what it is though.
If I try to import a much simpler version of the map, then it imports fine.

Re: cMud Map Importer
Hey chris, thanks for the tool. I'm trying to get it working, but after I import my map, I don't see anything. When I display getRooms(), it returns an empty table. I can see my map in cMUD though. Any ideas?

Re: Last command sent
Bumping this because I have a related question that's probably not worth its own thread. When I start up Mudlet and connect to my MUD, the MUD immediately returns some errors about unrecognized commands being sent. Obviously Mudlet is sending something but I don't know what. What's the best way for ...

Re: Generic Mapping Script
"start mapping" has never worked for me - I have to manually fire the function with lua map.start_mapping("myTestArea") ("Lua" is an alias I have for firing off Lua code) Here's another video of me trying the aliases. Maybe you can see what I'm doing wrong: https://www....

Re: Generic Mapping Script
How do I use the aliases? They don't seem to be getting created.
They're in a local function which I assume isn't called on its own, but I can't figure out how to call it.

Re: Generic Mapping Script
Unfortunately I had some issues the first time I tried it. I did a loop and when I came back to an earlier room, it created it as a new room. And did the same for all subsequent rooms that I revisited, re-creating them all as new rooms. I recorded a video: https://youtu.be/bRThIcPmW2I The room (&quo...

Re: Generic Mapping Script
Wow, amazing! Thanks so much! The exits in the game are north, south, east, west, up, down, and special case exits like "crawl gap" which don't correspond to a direction. There are no cardinal combos like "northwest." Room names are always the same color, but there may be a time ...
