Re: Q to notebook users.
I guess I'm oldschool. When using a desktop, I only use the keypad numbers for macros, for buffs and such. I never use them to move around. So, when using my Macbook it's no trouble, because I just use NESW anyway. It's just a habit, I guess...

Re: Mudlet 1.0.5(and Beyond) on the Mac
Hmm, looks as though my job's been taken over. ixokai looks like he knows his stuff way better than I do, though. Great job, keep it up.

Re: Mudlet on Mac
Yeah, somehow the new dependancies package I made had a broken pcre... odd. The old one's in the new installer for 1.0.2, so there shouldn't be any difficulties with that.

Re: Mudlet Beta-15 released
Yep. This *should* work on 10.4 as well as 10.5. Unfortunately, this is the only version you'll get from me like that, since I've updated to Snow Leopard. I can still do 10.5 and higher binaries, but that's it. As in the Snow Leopard post, if anyone is using Tiger and wants to try it out, please do,...

Re: Mudlet and Snow Leopard
Sometimes things are far simpler than they seem at first. I found this in the Qt documentation: http://doc.trolltech.com/4.5/deployment-mac.html It looks like an option needs to be added to src.pro to tell qmake which system to target for deployment (QMAKE_MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET = 10.4). Then it s...

Re: Mudlet and Snow Leopard
Okay, I think I figured something out. I'll explain, and I hope you don't get lost. On the Mac, by default, qmake will create an Xcode project for the src.pro when run without any arguments. (Xcode is, of course, the Mac IDE for pretty much every major codebase). I usually pass -spec macx-g++ when r...

Re: Mudlet and Snow Leopard
This is also worrisome: http://labs.trolltech.com/blogs/2009/08/31/qt-46-on-mac-os-106/ Apparently Qt 4.5 is supposed to work on Snow Leopard, but it's not officially supported, and official support will not come until 4.6. However, as I've read elsewhere, 4.6 isn't supposed to come out until late 2...

Mudlet and Snow Leopard
Just wanting to check something... I haven't upgraded to Snow Leopard yet (Mac OS X 10.6). Still waiting for apps to roll out 10.6 compatibility. Had a question, though: for those who have upgraded, or who already had the developer builds, does Mudlet run as it should? Second question: if I upgrade ...

Re: Compiling on a Non-Intel Mac
Good luck. I've been looking into making a universal binary, but some things are really confusing me... so... don't know if that will happen in the near future.
