This is NOT a problem I'm experiencing.
Rather, I've come here on behalf of another user who plays in the same MUD. He has earnestly reported that in trying to switch to Mudlet, he has noticed a 1-1.5 second input lag which is severely affecting his gameplay. This is not the 100ms of lag that others, using Mudlet on Windows, have noticed in the same MUD. I would like to help him, but I'm not using Windows 7 and I haven't seen the same problem myself.
He did note that his video drivers have failed, but has not indicated that he has any way to fix them. Unsure if this would cause the problem, however.
[Win 7; Mudlet 2.1] Lag on Entry
Re: [Win 7; Mudlet 2.1] Lag on Entry
What do the figures say at the bottom right of his Mudlet?
They're in this format: N: #### S: #### ?

Re: [Win 7; Mudlet 2.1] Lag on Entry
I just want to be able to convey the info to him correctly so I checked it on my own first, I have:
<no GA> S: 00.000
Or something like that. Is that what we're looking for?

Yep. When he sends his commands to the MUD he should be looking at those figures and see what they change to.
