Hi
Looking at switching to Mudlet and just testing a few things out. The only other clients I have stuck with allowed importing/exporting of aliases, triggers etc to and from plain text files. I find this easier for scripting rather than using a graphical frontend. Can Mudlet do this, I can't seem to find it?
Cheers

Re: Import & export to plain text file
Not plain text but via XML - check the controls on the top toolbar in the editor window. XML is readable/editable by text editor as well as more specialised editors and most web-browsers will allow some sort of basic display of it without any extra help - though they may moan about missing style information as they just display the document tree. The use of XML makes for better formed data structures than plain text - and you can of course use cut/copy/paste on the right hand "lua script" area of the editor - the item type specific parameters/options above that are the sort of thing that the structured form that XML provides is ideal for storing.

Thanks anyway, was hoping plain text as not a fan of XML. I do my general coding in vim, so like to do my mud scripting much the same
