newbie wants help with lua

Hi,

I'm new to mud and new to any kind of scripting language. I can learn. I want to give it a try.

Can anyone refer me to a lua tutorial that is written for total newbies? With lots of simple examples?

I thought I would try to write something to automate typing n, s, e, w, up, down,etc. One click to check for exits. Is that an alias?

Any help appreciated!

Hello, I made some buttons. They don't require any special scripts. And I know css. They only do simple things, but they remind me of the commands I should be doing.

I saw some of the user's guis in this forum and they're great. This is a very versatile program.

Heya Joe. There are tons of resources for learning mudlet on its wiki. Depending on which MUD you play, you can get further scripting examples or packages from their forums. If you have any specific questions then feel free to ask here.
