Can't backspace, delete, or use control+ commands in input.

I opened mudlet today and attempted to start inputting commands, but I misspelled something so I went to try to backspace and mudlet won't register my backspaces, the delete key, my arrow keys, or any control commands such as ctrl+a or ctrl+v. Is this a known problem or does anyone know why it might be happening?

This isn't a known problem - not sure why it would be happening.

Hm, any ideas on what I can do to troubleshoot. I checked to see if it was a general windows problem and it's specific to mudlet, though it spans across every profile.

Edit: As an additional note, the text boxes for my profiles work fine, but the input bar at the bottom and the scripts are for scripts/aliases/triggers sections won't register backspaces and whatnot. The trigger lines themselves though, can be input in normally.

Ah, fixed it, recently installed program was interacting with Lua in a very unfavorable way apparently

Yes, it would be a 3rd party program doing this.

Which one was this, in case someone else runs into this?

It was OpenAL.

Well a little, the current LGPL/GPL Qt support for multi-channel audio is a bit weak at the moment, you haven't even got pan controls so this might be of use for positioning sound effects...

Was the problem with the original, now gone proprietary, version or the forked "OpenAL Soft" current FOSS version?

The original. It was the oalinst.zip from the OpenAL.org directory (http://www.openal.org/creative-installers/oalinst.zip
).
