Windows XP crash on connect

Post by theobjectlesson »

Hello, I'm running Mudlet on Windows XP Home edition. Mudlet was working perfectly for me. In my last session I copied a the Realms of Despair profile and included my name and password. Now when I open the client and click "connect" the program crashes. Has anybody seen this before and know how to fix it? Thanks!

How did you copy the profile? Did you manually edit the profile xml file? For a quick fix remove your new Realms of Despair profile. Mudlet remembers your name + password in the standard profile too.

I used the copy feature in the profile window, and changed the name of the profile by adding a dash and my character name.
How can I manually remove the profile? I don't see any XML files in my Mudlet directory.

Try checking out your X:\Documents And Settings\<USERNAME>\.config folder
Where X is your ''Windows'' drive and <username> your windows username (without the <>'s)
