Re: (mapping script) 3kingdoms Mapper
Just for fun, I upgraded to the new version 3.0-delta yesterday... It seems that the 3k mapper no longer functions. Although I haven't run through all functionality to see just what all doesn't work, the mapper seems to fail when doing a findme. I think maybe something has changed in the ansi handli...

Any chance of an update release soon?
Hi folks, I'm enjoying the heck out of mudlet. Any chance of an updated release in the near future? The current one is almost a year and a half old, and there are some fixes that Chris committed quite a while back that I'd like to take for a spin. I'm not opposed to compiling from source, but looks ...

Re: (mapping script) 3kingdoms Mapper
Hey Chris,
Did my note from 2014-1-15 make sense, regarding the 'findme' behavior? If not, I'll see if I can get you more details. This issue is still giving me problems.

Re: (mapping script) 3kingdoms Mapper
Another oddity that I haven't quite been able to place my finger on. I've been playing around with the mapper... sometimes, when I tell it to find me, it'll claim that it did, BUT, it won't update the mapper to indicate the room I'm actually in, and it doesn't seem to update the last ID because if I...

Re: (mapping script) 3kingdoms Mapper
I'm finally returning to 3k after a long work induced hiatus... Anyway, I pulled down the latest version of the mapper tonight, and I think I found another bug, this time in the doDelete routine. I've commented out the offending line. for i,v in pairs(tmap.roomsToDelete) do -- if v == tmap.last.id t...

Re: (mapping script) 3kingdoms Mapper
I've been pretty busy with work lately so I haven't had much time to dig further into this. The coordinate version sounds interesting - I'd be happy to test, etc when you're ready. I'm not quite sure what causes my problem - The mapper just seems to do some strange things from time to time, but I've...

Re: (mapping script) 3kingdoms Mapper
That's why I'm confused. This is a completely new map area. I created an entirely new area in the mapper and started going from there. The map file as a whole is the one I converted, but I am not using any old rooms in this area where I'm experiencing trouble. Doesn't make much sense to me, but it s...

Re: (mapping script) 3kingdoms Mapper
Hm, a quick update to my most recent problem with the room creation. I'm very confused, but it seems to be something either related to the map file I'm using OR something specific to my profile. I created a new profile, and an entirely new map, and went through exactly the same steps and it worked p...

Re: (mapping script) 3kingdoms Mapper
Another question... somewhere during all of this, I've managed to trash my speed walk list...
the items stored in tmap.mwalkList
How is mwalkList persisted? Is it stored in one of the xml backups? Old map file?
I'm not sure at all how I managed to delete it.

Re: (mapping script) 3kingdoms Mapper
Ok, grabbed the latest version and installed it... no difference... I'm seeing the exact same behavior.
